Tour Driver: Philadelphia Area

We have multiple programs in the Philadelphia area starting soon and will involve operating large, branded DOT vehicles, vehicle maintenance, set-up, and break down.

This 1099 contract position starts soon and will run through the end of the year and beyond. It is an in-market program so you will be home every night. Should there be any overnight travel needs the company will pay for meals and accommodations. This is an amazing opportunity with a great company and stability during these uncertain times!

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and maintain large vehicle (includes either DOT-small trailer/Pick up truck (non CDL) or 26' box truck
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety of the vehicle
  • Dailey event setup & breakdown
  • Purchase and replenish consumable supplies as necessary
  • Manager inventory supply
  • Responsible for site check of activation site
  • Troubleshoot and overcome challenges as they arise
  • Monitor weather and make weather related shut down decisions as necessary
  • POC onsite
  • Reporting
    • Track expenses an submit bi-weekly reports
    • Activation Photos
    • Inventory Management

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Preferred 3+ years experience driving oversized vehicles including Pick up truck and trailer experience (non CDL)
  • Clean driving record
  • "Of Service" mindset to client
  • Friendly, optimistic, self-motivated personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mechanically & Technically inclined
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • DOT certification is a plus!
