We are seeking experienced Program Managers to join our rock star Tour Operations team. The Program Manager role is literally “mission control” for our mobile tours operating in cities across the US. You will work directly  with the customer, internal support teams and field tour operations staff to provide guidance, direction and logistical support to ensure 100% success across all assigned programs.

core Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct a cross-functional team to ensure assigned client programs are executed on strategy, on time, on budget and within Aardvark Standard Operating Procedures and Standards of Excellence
  • Develop, maintain and manage timelines and be held accountable to program budgets
  • Build and manage relationships with clients and key contacts
  • Interview and recommend field staff candidates
  • Develop and manage staff training for assigned programs
  • Manage and direct drivers and field staff to ensure that programs operate      successfully and in line with client vision
  • Some travel will be required

Experience / Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in event and/or project management. Agency experience is preferred. No touring staff or recent college grads please.
  • Ability to provide impeccable client service and to represent our company’s core values and to become recognized as a trusted expert for the program
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills and spreadsheet-based analytical, budget tracking and reporting capability - expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
  • A better-than-average-level of mechanical aptitude. Our touring services are delivered via trucks and therefore you should have an understanding of the basics of routine maintenance including oil changes, dealing with a dead battery, flat tire repair, etc. You won’t have to perform the maintenance but will need to coordinate with the driver to resolve these issues.
  • Must be self-motivated, reliable, with the ability to prioritize manage multiple competing demands with minimal daily supervision
  • A true team player – willing and able to assist with whatever is needed on short notice - including ability to put in long hours, weekends and fill in for drivers when needed
  • A passion for the mobile and event marketing industry is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
