We’re building a brand new state of the art HQ right outside of Philadelphia (Conshohocken) and we need an experienced, resourceful sales leader to round out our already strong senior leadership team. We have a proven business model and our goal is to scale that model quickly. Essential to achieving this goal is the development of a high-performing, world-class sales group. You will have the opportunity to build that team and department from scratch. The great news is that you’ll have a strong foundation to build upon with hockey stick growth over the past several years. And, this is purely a sales management role. You will of course be going on sales calls with your team as needed, but won’t be required to achieve a personal sales goal – this job is all about building, growing and nurturing the sales team so that each salesperson meets or exceeds their sales goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create our sales strategy
  • Define the highest-potential target markets
  •  Determine where those targets are and how to get their attention
  •  Develop the sales process and playbook
  •  Optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the CRM
  •  Create sales department budget
  •  Generate new revenue, meeting or exceeding targets
  •  Keep the pipeline filled
  •  Hire at least four top performing salespeople (A players) in the first year 

Experience / Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build a sales process and team to effectively grow a product/division
  • Experience finding and closing big deals for high quality, premium priced products with longer, complex sales cycles
  • Experience selling high dollar products or services to CRO, CMO, and VP Sales in a B2B company.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate significant business from referrals.
  • Some experience with the creation of marketing content, SEO, case studies, social content, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize sales technology
  • Experience building and nurturing a high functioning sales team
  • Trade show industry sales experience preferred
